Cyclone Separator:
This equipment are mostly used for common dust removal in industry. They are simple in construction and varieties of materials can be used and also at a very high temperature.

In cyclone separator, the suspended particles are separated from the gas stream by the action of centrifugal and gravitational forves. The dust laden gas is introduced tangentially into the separation chamber and thereby vortex flow is formed. Consequently, in cyclone separators of small-diameters, the separation of small suspended particles are effected and thus high degree of separation is achieved. For effectively working of dust collection systems with cyclones, efficient dust valves are vital and these dust valves are properly designed and supplied form our end.

Wet Scrubber:
These equipments are ideally suitable for those application where the cementitious nature of the contaminants present and creating a potential built up problems. When the dust is damp, sticky or explosive, wet scrubbers are the ideal choice.

Operation:
The equipment utilizes kinetic energy to accomplish dish collection through the principle of impact. The contaminated gas stream is accelerated through a venturi shaped throat section and resulting reaching velocities between 9000 and 24000 feet per minute. Water introduced ahead of the throat is atomised by the high velocity gas stream and dust particles collide itself and turned into tiny droplets.

The water laden gas moves through a flooded elbow before entering the cyclonic separator tangentially where droplets are removed by centrifugal force and impigement.

Clean, droplet free air passes through the separator outlet and thus slurry is drained off from the bottom.
